Dear Kobi:

I also have a question for you.

When will Jamz grow a set and stop searching for someone enforce his claim that he is not a woman?

Curiously yours,

wstahlm80

Dear wstahlm80 -

When I was a little Kobi, my Mom used to ignore me when I was acting like a stupid, little, brat . . . and especially when I asked irritating, dumb questions, for the sake of being irritating and dumb.

So this is me ignoring your question . . . .

K

You can have it Bambi, I'm just about done with it.
It's trash as far as I can tell.
The only thing I got out of it was I always thought an existentialist was like a Orkin Man.
I was wrong about that and I apologize to bug killers everywhere.

Existentialist / Exterminator

You know, it would take a leap of faith™ (kierkegaard) to believe you would confuse the two.

I have met some people over the years that told me they were existentialists.
I never said to their face what I was thinking...
This lying bastard has never been under a house in his life.

Dear Kobiashi.
So many questions and you have so little time. I must make the utmost
attempt to ask only one, and a good one it must be, if i should be graced with an answer.

How do they get the caramal in the caramel bars?

Dear Russell -

Yoda fan, are you not?

And, in that vein, Socratic elenchus seems rather apropos.

To find out how they do it, one must first find out who they are. And so, I ask you :

Who are THEY?

(Finding out who they are will go a long way in answering how it is they get the caramel in the bar. Trust me on this one.).

Good luck in your quest.

By the way . . . you wrote how do they get the caraMAL in the caraMEL bar. They don't . . . . they get the caraMEL in the caraMEL bar. Not trying to be too particular, but such minutia is important with regard to such important topics. Good question though. Thanks for writing in.

Kobi-

Dear Raoul-

Don't blame existentialists, some are not what they seem. Some are just posers.

You might find this of interest. Here's a pic of Sartre that hasn't been seen much in public:

J.P.'s day job was as an OrkinMan.

You've just been talking to the wrong existentialists . . . or not.

Cool

Kobi...

How come my life is following the message in Little Feat's "Old Folks Boogie"? My mind is sharp as a tack, but my body is slowly failing. How can I stop the aging process?

BTW, I went 'forward into the past' & read the earlier TP post. Sorry for the duplication.

Dear Kobi, I’m a big fan with a couple of questions for you…

1. Why is it that no matter how many times some poor sucker gets ripped by the collective forum members for posting a laughable and pathetic account of his attempted wooing of "girl x" by being Mr. Niceguy, no one ever learns that being a sweet romantic guy will never get you anywhere with a woman? Aren't we about due for the next loser to chime in on what to get his "girl who is a just a friend" for her birthday, or "when do I call the girl I flirted with all summer and got a hug from?”

2. Why can't people spell anymore, did they stop teaching that in school? How hard is it to spell a word like "Hybrid"?

3. In connection with #3, are some of the people who frequent this forum really as uneducated and ignorant as their ridiculous, poorly spelled, and badly worded posts imply?

4. Why is common sense inversely proportional to intelligence in the filed of graduate level education in the biological sciences?

5. Why am I so damn cynical?

Signed,
"Annoyed and disgusted with humaninty in Rochester"

I was wondering if anyone would pick up on that one... I saw it after the post and was about to edit it but I thought that the irony was too funny. Hence the post stands as a testament to my own ridiculousness (is that even a word?)

If you want to mutilate your own body, fine . . . have a grand time. BUt honestly, must you share it in a public forum? Do we really need to see it?
Sure, you could make the argument that "Hey! You don't need to look at it...read a different post." But that argument does not work here in the relatively unrestricted virtual world. Someone may start a post about Car Wax and Joe can freely just post a pic of his . . . whatever . . . so as to fulfill his exhibitionist desires, and we, thinking we are going to be reading about the virtues of Zaino suddenly are subject to piercings in places that are not supposed to be pierced (among other things).

So if he posts pix of his piercings in an inappropriate forum, then maybe some form of "punishment" should be considered . . . not sure how you "punish" someone in a virtual universe, but there are better minds than mine to figure that out.

Kobi-
Almost two years later and I'm still getting ragged on it

I have a job, that I work at 40 hours a week, plus school full time. I know its not going to be my career though so I really dont consider it a 'real' job. I never mentioned anything about gas milage. I said I want to keep the miles down on my L just for the pure fact that I dont like the fact of my L having a lot of miles on it (its six years old with 30,000 miles on it).

I know Im not going to save money on gas by owning two vehicles (but I did have a friend once who told me to save money on his insurance he was going to buy a second car )

Let me try and re-word my question:

When I pay of my truck in a few months Ill get an extra couple hundred dollars a month . Should I:

a) Spend it on a daily driver (+gas and insurance and all other unforseen cost) so I can keep my truck in 'collecters status'
b) Move out of my parents house and get some run down apartment across town?
c) Just save it all for who knows what a few years down the road.

Hopefully that helped clarify my question for you.
