Trade My F150 for a F250?
I am thinking about trading my 02 F150 Lariat for a 07 F250 XLT.
F150 has 131000 miles
F250 has 159000 miles
F150 high payment
F250 payment almost cut in half.
F150 payed off next year
F250 four more years
F150 kind of sluggish pulling camper
F250 what camper?
Can anyone give me a little help ether way? Is this alot of miles for this truck? Its was a salesmens truck and was kept in great condition. I just need something with power to pull my new camper where I want to go.

The F250 has the 5.4
I do have kids and pets thats the main reason for the 4door. I also pull my camper about every weekend and we are planning a trip out west next year with the kids and camper. I do have another car for cruzing around , but I would buy this truck to drive it not leave it in my driveway.
The thing I like best about this deal is the lower payments. But I am a little worried about the miles. Should I be?

I just traded my 2006 5.4L F150 for a new 2010 F350 6.4L diesel and couldn't be happier. They're offering great deals on the 2010s to make room for the new model. I've never had a diesel so I was a little wary but I'm getting the same fuel mileage as my F150 but with a lot more power. I have a truck camper which was too heavy for the F150 and not safe to drive. Now, I don't even notice the camper on the back. Maintenance sounds a lot more complicated on the diesel but I haven't had to deal with that yet. My biggest complaint, no hood liner on the F350 which would help quiet the engine. Not that it's very noisy but every little bit helps. I bought an aftermarket liner and installed it myself instead.
