Im about to purchase Banks Ram Air intake, and was jus wonderin how bad the drone is with it?? I would like to hear from the guys that already have one installed, how do you like it so far??and is it a good intake overall??

I have an S&B CAI, which is very similiar, they might even make the CAI for banks. and I have a little bit of drone, but it makes the truck sound tough IMO.
and it is alot cheaper than the banks CAI...I paid $269 for my S&B CAI.

I hoped this helps a bit.

Banks is their own company, if anything it could be the other way around.

I highly recommend the Banks system. I used a K&N on an 05 5.4 and was impressed until I used Banks on my 08. Night and day difference in initial throttle response.

 

I have the Banks and I really like it! I don't think it's too loud but the guy I bought it from sold it because of the drone.

so my intake finally came in!....I was wondering if I should disconnect the battery while im installin it, or anything else I should do? maybe clean the throttle body???
