I love my high flow cat's from Magnaflow, I have my 02 sensor shut off with a custom tune. My truck is very loud and has a deep sound.

Yes you can re-mount OEM sensors. If any CEL issues, have your custom tuner update a file to turn rear O2 monitoring off.

Thanks Darren! High flows may just have to be the next thing on my list.

so is having the o2 sensor after the cat any louder than having them inside the cat?

O2 mounting does not effect the volume. The catalyst is not interrupted within either model by the O2 mount.

Catco and walker are big names. Walker is a huge aftermarket oem exhaust company. Usually everything is direct fit. The cats we use ARE NOT high flow cats, they are just universal cats. I've done some research on this, you have to look at the cell count in the substrate to determine if they are high flow or not.

so i have a question, i have an 05 with a 5.4. i had the same problem with magnaflow telling me i have four cats under my truck, which i do not. so will either setup work? the 4 cat or the two cat? whats better, will the two that everyone is mentioning on this thread work? would they be best? and how bout with headers? also i have to pass emissions test crap here so that may make a difference. thanks.

With headers depending on style, if longtube, you will need to run a 2 cat system. The front set of cats on a 4 cat system sit right where longtube header primaries sit.

As far as emissions, stick with a cat with a 300+ cell count.

94106s are louder and cheaper ($67 ea. )since they're a smaller cat ( takes less stainless steel to make them ) The 94306s are 30% quieter than the 94106s and are T-304 stainless ( shiny ). All depends what you think you would more prefer, the loudest sound close to cat-less, or a louder sound but not too loud.
Can you run just two cats one for both sides I wanna run true duals out the back and needed to know if I need 4 or 2 cats
