high flow cats on 08 f150 question

The part # cats you would need to run are 94306, or 94106. They are both manufactured by Magnaflow Performance and are both different, 94306 is a T-304 stainless covered converter that absorbs very little sound, 94106 are natural finished stainless ( T-409 ) and absorb no sound, give a close to cat-less sound. The shop mounted them inside the cat right before the screen. I went to Darrenws6 for all my questions and he recommended the 94106 cats. I will try to get pics of 02 sensor tomorrow.

They drilled into the cats and mounted them there? what the heck? They will work if they are mounted after the hi-flows but hmm, whatever works?

I think that guy is a tool. The stock cats are pretty restrictive, if you got Magnaflow Hi flows, they would make it much louder. All that has to be done to not get a CEL is to have the 02 sensor mounted after the catalytic converter.

Many have. Never reported a CEL. As for photos I have none personally but some people should chime in.

hey jakek88 if your intrested I have two high flow cat I bought and can not use. I bought them for 87.90 off ebay. the stock number is 94306 would let go for170.00 shiped...

i already have a set of the 94106 cats. i was gunna have them put in, then i ran into this issue. but thanks for the offer.

yea, some exhaust laws suck! where i am from the only people who get pulled over for exhaust are the ones who just hack off their muffler and have it dumped.
