What si/do magnaflow muffler is louder or deeper than the super 44?
Just curious to see if magnaflow has a si/do muffler that has a louder or deeper tone than the super 44 i have now, i mean the super 44 is pretty loud. just asking incase i ever end up switching up soon. thanks
i dunno guys, i have the si/do 14" on mine, 5.4L, and it sounds good but i'm not sure it is in the same neighborhood as the super 44. like you say, it is definitely not quite as loud, but while it has a good deep growl i still am not sure if it is as deep as the super 44. magnaflow has an 11" i was interested in getting before, but due to my inexperience w/ magnaflow i was afraid it would be too loud for what i wanted.
I heard a 11" Magnaflow before, just a tad louder than the 14", didn't sound as nice as the 14" does though in my opinion. The Super 44 is both very deep toned, and straight piped loud, check out my old trucks exhaust. http://youtube.com/watch?v=sLufwseFY4Q
i like the sound of that chevy. kids at my school thought my truck was true duels until i told them its just a muffler. ill have to admit the super 44 is pretty loud. guess i dont thik that much because i dont get to hear it other than in the cab

.BTW I have 2 14" round Magnaflow mufflers
) It sure is one damn loud muffler, perfect for the teens.
i've been hearing the super 44 is a good sounding muffler. i've never heard one in real life other than sound clips. but i do like the smooth deep sound of the magnaflow and the volume level of a flowmaster. why can't one of them have both of those good qualities?!!
I agree, I like the sounds of Flowmaster on some vehicles, but they could start improvements by using T-409 steel.
yeah, i had my mom and dad drive it a couple times, and i just sat there and listened. it sounds great when your behind it in another car. i guess since i probably have a couple thousand miles on it now, it just seems to get progressivly louder haha
