$430 plus shipping. Well worth it to me, but maybe not to others.

Trust me you will be happy with it. When I ordered the off-road kit back in August I went ahead & also ordered the roush cai. I put the exhaust on & it sounded very nice. I waited a couple of days & then my friend helped me put the cai on. The 1st time I nailed the throttle all I can is that both of our jaws dropped.

It's on, but I'm not that high tech. That stuff's much harder for me to do. Putting on the exhaust was easy.

Man, it's got a loud rumble on startup. Definitely louder than the 18" maggie I had welded in the stock piping. I'll have to get used to the sound. It's loud just under light engine load, but I'll get used to it. Cruising on the freeway it's not that bad. I always wanted a meatier sounding truck, and I definitely have that!

Those tips are awesome! I unwrapped them carefully, and I switched gloves into cotton gloves to handle them. I didn't want any oily grime on them. That stuff stains in when the tips get hot.

I also lubed up the threads on the clamps because they were quite stiff and read someone broke one on installation, so that went good.

I will drive it around for a couple of days and readjust. I was too tired this morning to get everything aligned perfectly. I made sure the tips were centered, but after I dropped it off the stands I noticed one was lower than the other, I'll fix that later.

All in all, it's clean, good quality, easy to install, and loud!

Stealth, now that you know how loud the Roush off-road kit is, would you still recommend it or is it too loud?

I'm still trying to figure that out. I'm sure it is too loud for some, just fine to others. I just got to work and I still have all hearing function.

It really is like the other guys described in the thread. It's as loud as you want to make it, but while driving normally it's OK if you're looking for a noticable cruising tone. No drone whatsoever to me.

I'll have pics up tomorrow.
