But, if it's the rears it is just a CEL nag - Cat monitors only. The fronts however, control Air/fuel via the PCM, so these are very important to mileage, performance and preventing Cat damage from running overly rich. these need to function 100%.
Good luck.
Tanks!

I would, if I could, just try to take a look-see under there to make sure it isn't actual physical damage of some kind. Just to be sure.
Highly recommend a front O2 swap, asap. You might be pleasantly surprised by the result.
Take care & good luck to you.

Hi.
Yes sir - very possible. Might notice some perf improvement as well, as the nice tight responsive A/F control wil be back up to snuff.
It all depends how 'lazy' (slow switchrates) and/or contaminated the current ones are now.
Cheers

i don't know about the f150's, haven't used it on them. i put it on my wifes 2001 pontiac grand am gt and it dropped from a 10.77 to a 10.70(1/8th mile) i never had any adverse effects from it and no real noticeable change in mpg. but it does work in the power department( not drastic but its there) i had it on the car until we sold it and the car had 147k on it. it does work but not what they are saying. snake oil might be a far leap, but definetly not worth a million horseys like their claiming. check your plugs/o2 sensors every so often to make sure with the extra fuel that its not fouling them out. other than that have fun

It's VERY possible to have a sensor fail at any time. I had one in the transmission of my Honda fail in the first 30K miles. The replacement is still going strong (110K).
I THINK, "1" refers to the passenger side. Anyway, I'd look there first.
And, 00gm5.4 - glad you have a sense of humor! Sometimes you need it with all the chimpanzees on this forum! At times, I climb up into the trees with them myself! It helps when we don't take ourselves too seriously.
