I also need to know if a SC exists for a 97 4.6L 4X4? If so, what model # and what kind of gains can I expect? HP, MPG, Tq??

Hey Scott,
Are you guys ever going to do a program that works with a cai? I bought your flashpaq over a year ago and still no program. You guys just give a runaround and never answer my questions.

The Mileage XS tune was specifically built for economy in mind. It fine tunes the vehicle to a point so you will still gain some power increases and enjoy driveability improvements but the tune is specifically built for mileage gains.

The Mileage XS does offer all of the options offered with the Flashpaq and Cortex programmers to adjust trans, tires and gears, and so on. You just don't get all of the performance tunes.

You can however upgrade your Mileage XS online to a Flashpaq to gain those other tunes for a nominal fee.

The Mileage XS tune is also a free update to an existing Flashpaq or Cortex unit if you are currently in posession of one.

Here is the data for your 97:

F150 4.6L 1997-2003 #1715 Max tuner +18HP +26ft/lb User feedback on MPG gains have been between 1-2 on the highway and possibly up to 1MPG in the city but it all depends on driving styles and driving conditions.
