Coming late into the post, but I called Mike Troyer about a week ago to get a price on a 3.5" AF1 for my brother. I was calling just for the intake, but he went ahead and quoted me a price of $425 shipped for the 3.5" intake and a set of 3 tunes emailed since my brother already has a programer.

My brother was getting quote from other places for the intake alone for more than that. Apparently AF1 has had a price increase and the intakes are now $399 + shipping at most places......

Bottom line is Mike really quoted me a good price, I dont' know why the OP had a quote for more.

Don't get me wrong, I love my VMP tunes and don't plan of getting rid of them, but Mike really did give my brother a good price.......

Thumbs up Stop And Read This Message.

STOP AND READ THIS MESSAGE.

I talked to Anita and she said that one of her new employees relayed incorrect information regarding the cost of the tune. I received a call from her today and we worked it out and she was very kind and professional as usual.

I will say that I am disappointed in some of the posts getting very personal instead of staying at a higher level. Some of the posts directed at me were personal, at the Troyers and some posters at each other. It shows the condition of mankind today seriously lacking in spirtuality, and the need of serious anger management courses.

Please don't post any longer on this thread and if the administrator would just delete it, I would be grateful.

So you were racing a buddy in your truck, with a trailor, and your TP tuned truck beat his local tuned truck w/ trailor with similar mods? Did I read that right?

Ok in your previous post you mentioned about how your a Bad Racing Dude, and nobody really messes with you cause you spend money for top notch stuff. Bashing on Thumper, and talking smack about your mustangs, 10.5 car, and how you have bikes to race also, and calling people out that your willing to travel 250miles to race.

Now, Here's my take, Your a punk azz, with no brains at all.... Your talking all this sh*t and basically what you just told me was that you were racing your truck (6000lbs) w/ a trailor, from 45mph, up to 115mph. On the street!! Aren't you a stupid SOB, street racing in general is dumb, but 6000lbs, truck plus a trailor, ????????????????????????? What were you thinking? why dont you and your buddy, just take the trucks to the track, line up and get a real, ET/MPH instead of running up to 115mph on a public street!

This type of mentality pretty much makes anything you say worthless!

Thats exactly why I didnt waste my time with that post. I never once said anything about racing a car vs a truck. I was just kidding around because it was funny as hell. Life is too short.

I’m disappointed in you starting a thread with a name like this in the first place, and then to let it run on like you did, inviting everyone to take a kick at Mike sucks IMO

Glad to see you got that straightened out. Now, why not an appoligy to Mike and all the rest at TP (except for maybe the new employee)? You did start this thread "Boo Troyer Performance". I know when I eat crow, and I've had to do that many times, I do it right!

first and foremost never did i say i was some Big Bad Racing Dude. I stated race that a friend and I did with the trucks. Has for the cars I never stated race cars against trucks but if someone wanted to race cars we can do that also. If you had any common sense you would see the post was to race trucks at a track that are similiar just to see where they are at with the different tuners. Has for cutting the fool in the street, I never said I condone it but hey it happens. Hell most everyone up here is trying to get there truck to accelerate faster, run faster and will eventually surpass the posted speed limit. Now did i say go out in rush hour traffic and race trucks. I have seen more accidents of late because someone was talking on the cellphone and not paying attention than anything else. For the name calling that you feel so free to use ( Punk azz and others quotes) If you were to approach me with anything other than hey how you doing ILL BE YOUR HUCKLEBERRY!

Alright guys, lets settle down. The OP said it was a new employee's fault. Just let this one drift away ... No need to continue this. DirtyO2000 just relax. I never said I wanted to race a car against a truck. I never said I wanted to race anyone. I just thought it was funny how people were talking about their trucks like they were race cars.

I've learned everything I know from you.

Seriously though, It's not my fault some people don't like what I have to say. I'm not here to please anyone. I think you feel the same way so you should understand where I'm coming from. By the way I just went back and was trying to find exactly when the OP said the part about the mistake on behalf of an employee at TP. I didn't realize that some people had said something. I never said that I knew how to write tunes but I've watched Justin tune a "few" vehicles and I know how long they generally take. Of course there are exceptions to that.

Just an astute observation on my part...yet so elementary.
