If he's been into F150's for over 14yrs, then he should have the database and exp. to write tunes quicker.

I have wondered this myself, I call in and give them (tuner) my ECM Code, they write a tune. 4.6/cai/exhaust/ ect..ect.. save the tune, the next guy call's in he's got strategy code #$%^, so I write a tune for him, save it, after a while, you have enough data, that when someone call's in you should be able to make minor adjustments and send a tune out quicker than 1-3 months.

RESEARCH, HAHAHAHAHAHA FOR ABOUT 3 MONTHS night after night of reading the old threads of tuners and edge, and xcals, hypertec, ect..ect. I know what im talking about. Facts are Facts, Troyer's not the only F150 capable tuner in the threads now, so far VMP is steppin up to the plate, offering great prices, great tunes, and a great turn around time.

A year or two ago I would agree, TP if you want custom tunes, but in these times, there's some other great tuners to choose from! I had my mustang Dyno tuned at a local ford sct tuner.... he then loaded up my VMP tune for my truck, that I had data logged, and it was spot on, he said he would not adjust anything on it, af's were spot on, timing was good, he gave it the ok, as well. He could have easily told me different and made me pay to put iot on the dyno and write me a tune just to make some $$$ but he didnt!

VMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!

Get's my vote, Im a skeptical person to begin with, but after that... VMP Tunes are GOLDEN!!!!! in my book!

Than don't get butt hurt when people create threads like this. Or mention they're going to be switching from TP to VMP. It's all good.

I got better things to do today then sit here and argue this point.

lol

Id rather go drive my VMP Tuned truck! Kill some bug's, and burn some gas, maybe even pass a few TP tuned trucks!

JPdadeo, Chill out man! You bust our ball's about VMP, and stuff, have you personally ever tried VMP? (You yourself, on your truck) I have not tried TP, so I cant comment on his tunes, I just know that I am more than happy with VMP, and so far, the truck has performed flawless!

Nothing against TP, except the price, and the wait!! Eventually I may get a TP tune, and take it to the dyno and see what's what, between the two!

Till then, can't we agree to disagree! & Cant we all just get along!!

We got bigger things to worry about like.............................................. .
.................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ........A sign I saw on the way home today..... OBAMA for President, That scare's the the sh*t out of me!

Yes you do put others down, don't try to bow out now. I'm pretty sure you've said that Mike's tune are "bar none" the best, even without trying other tunes. Pretty biased don't you think?

Thanks to a crappy, steamy, and stormy Saturday, I decided to kick back... so, I have a few dead bottle soldiers sitting here ... and thank Goodness! It makes this thread is downright funny. Otherwise, I swear, I'd have to cancel my tunes on order from VMP and Troyer, and just go put my K&N drop in and Tornado in and hope for the best.

I agree, the $125 for one tune is a bit much, but I am sure there is more here than is being said. Someone knows something. For the poster above quoted $125 for the additional AF1 tube and three tunes, I guess you rate A+ with Troyer. I thought I was on their "good list" and I think was quoted substantially more than that... even if I had the three additional tunes written at the time I had my original 3" AF1 tunes written. I'll check the price tomorrow, but I could swear that the extra AF1 tube alone was $125.
