Then go there!

Plenty of people still buy lame *** chevys and dodge trucks too, so hardly a effective anaolgy.

Hey its your truck, don't want to deal with troyer then don't!

Do whatever makes you happy.

The people posting on here HAVE dealt with Troyer and are very happy.

It seems that is disturbing to you.

So buy what you want where you want its a free world.

Many feel Troyer is the best, myself included, of course there are others, try the rest, then come to the best!

Free free to invite the tuners that you feel are equal or better in customer service and tuning programs to post here.

If you can find one that is.

After all my first loyalty is to my truck, if you can post a truck tuning company that can do A BETTER JOB, I am alll ears.

What kind of facts whould you like??
A head to head against who you think is the best??

Name them with your facts if you have any.

Company, customer service, custom tuning, vehicle type, price, whatever.

There are lots of people here that have dealt with Troyer have poster their experience with them and I highly doubt it is a vast conspiracy of unmitigated liars.

Please post your company or companies that do a better job so I can switch over.

Any facts at all, anything you have to offer besides name calling...

Hey I'm always open to new idea if you have anything to present!

this is the ultimate dog-chasing-its-tail thread. ok, here's some facts:

this is my dyno graph from last weekend, Troyer Perf dyno day in Salem. this pull shows my custom "MAIL-ORDER" tune from Mike.

I told him to give me a nice safe race tune for my 03 Lightning (I made about 200 track passes this year). I have some pretty minimal mods, 4lb pulley, ported supercharger, intake. Warm motor from back to back pulls- 400 rwhp, 470 tq, 11.5 A/F ratio just about across the board, a little rich to keep my torque up and be on the safe side with 93 octane and ~15 lbs of boost. Exactly what I had asked for and exactly what I got. THe tune was spot on, but MIke says he's got a few tricks up his sleeve to get even more out of it.

Slick thanks for the info, glad your happy with your results, now if I was in the market for a tune I would look at your post and compare it to others to make a decision instead or reading all the "he is the best" posts and make a decision for myself

Just my personal experience which you may or may not find tasteful.
When I bought my first Lightning in 2001, I like many came to these forms and went straight to the Lightning threads to pick up some mods.
I picked "another" tuner who was rated among the top and purchased several mods including his "hot" single program Superchip for my L. That tuners customer service was a little suspect from thier responses to my many phone calls, but I went with them none the less because of thier reputation.
The best I got out of my L was 12.88 @ 104 mph. After I had an issue with the chip and the truck started shutting off at a FFW Event, they checked it out ( they were present at the Event) and decided it was faulty and then burned me another chip, with the same program. After I had completed installing it they informed me that I owed them $225.00 for the new chip.
I took it back out, handed it back to them and left the Event.
Within the next two days I called Mike @ Troyer Performance and ordered the same style chip from him, with his program. His questions concerning my mods were more intense, and his attention to details was far superior to any others I had talked to. I ordered the chip from him, recieved it within 5 days, and within the next week later he called to see if I was satisfied.
When I told him that two days after installing it that the truck ran a 12.49 @ 111mph, he started to chuckle and we talked for another half hour about Drag Racing and etc..
Needless to say, I have not spent a cent with any other "Tuners or Vendors" since that day. Mike has tuned 4 other vehicles for me, and more than 25-30 for my friends and family.
On a side note, I ran into that "other" vendor that I bought the first chip from at several events over the past few years, and believe it or not he offered to tune my vehicle for free after I reminded him of what had happened at that FFW Event many years ago, he even informed me that with todays prices that he would be giving me a service that was worth twice the $225.00 the original chip had cost me. My answer to him is and always will be,
" NO, that $225.00 that meant so much to you back then, was the cost of
what will undoubtly be a life long friendship with Mike Troyer, and at todays prices, that is the best deal I have ever made".

Your first post in this thread was insulting and combative and now you're insulting folks again. You wanna make a point leave out that garbage.

The closest thing to badmouthing here are your posts. In fact no one has mentioned any other vendors at all. I spent time and researched my info and in the process of speaking with a couple tuners I had some bad experiences. I chose not to post about them and instead keep to the positive aspects of the discussion.

You're so anxious to hear about other tuners then how about you contribute and tell us about some? If you know of a good tuner please feel free to talk about them. So far all you've contributed is negativity.

lol you dont have a clue again...I have been contacted by customers of Mike's that are unhappy...I would post the emails and customers but I was asked by all of them to keep it out of the forums....Mike also asked me to give him that info also and I wouldnt...ppl have there limits and nobody will ever be perfect even Mike...what you or I think is the "best" can be argued forever....let ppl decide for themselves instead of trying to push something on them
