Hey guys new here , Got a question- Am i right that from the factory, the back windows come about 20% and so to match i should just put 20% on top of whatever came stock on the front windows to make it match the back

Likely as not, just like in Va., police cars are exempt.

I thought you'd have to go darker, maybe 15% due to the extra light coming in through the windshield, no? But I'm no expert

i did go with 35%, at first i thought it was great but now a few months later i wish i went darker, i might get the strip across the top of the windshield to see if that makes it darker

Personally i think 5% in the back and 15% up front is ideal, the back stays cool and dark and the front isnt too dark for looking out at night.. the back takes a week or so to get used to
