Practiced w/ nite shades....pics!!

Wanted to spray something to learn on before I tackled my tails. Only thing i could find was my lights on bull bar. They were glass so it took lots of coats, maybe 10 or so. I used the wet sanding method and just used some spray can clear coat. They turned out pretty good I think.
I will be doing my tail lights, 3rd brake light and a light coat on fog lights after work today. I bought some duplicolor "paint shop" clear coat for a spray gun so Hope it turns out good!

****ALSO****....I need ideas on mounting my tag!! I dont want to drill bumper unless its a last resort!!

That does look real good! Did you clear the taillamps yourself?

So you used a Dupli Color clear coat. Looks pretty good. Most rattle can clear coats dont turn out that great, I'm gonna have a shop spray mine when I do my taillamps and brake light.

No it was automotive clear. Used a spray gun. It was $20 but it required no reducer, it was ready to spray out of the can.
