SEARCH. Anyway, bushwacker pocket style seems to be the most popular, link https://www.f150online.com/forums/ap...ushwacker.html. They also make a less aggressive flare called extend-a-fender, link to their site http://www.bushwacker.com/fender.asp...&search=Search. EGR makes some less aggressive OEM style flares, link https://www.f150online.com/forums/20...ares-pics.html and a couple other styles, link http://www.egrusa.com/resultspage.as...ake=4&model=61. Personally, if you don't have a lift on the truck (leveling kit is not lifted) I'd stick with a less aggressive style flare but if it is lifted (or going to be lifted in the future) go with a more aggressive style flare. Hope this helps you out

I have been "SEARCHING" . I just figured since someone made a thread about it, i'd give it a little bump since i was curious what people would say. I have been looking into the bushwacker flares, i like them. I probably wont get them for a while since the wheels and tires did a number on me. But i figured it doesnt hurt to start looking and get some ideas. Plus i need to wait and see how the wheels and tires look on my truck to determine what kind i want. I think this being a member of this site is going to cost me a lot of money, but thats ok it well worth it.

It's fine man, I wasn't directing that towards you. Just saying that if you search long enough you should be able to find almost anything. It took me less then a minute to find info for fender flares

Oh i know man, its cool. Searching is definetly very useful, i'd rather search and try to find my answer right away rather then wait for a response. I just saw this one and figured i'd bump it (even though the original posters bump comment was a bit out of line). Anyways, Hey thanks again for the inspiration on the wheels.

I have done a bunch of research and found a bunch of info on fender flares...what I was asking, maybe I should have phrased it better (my bad...), was:

For those of you who have put fender flares on your trucks, what brands seem to work best? Are there certain brands to stay away from? Is it better to go OEM or aggressive (like Bushwacker)?

I just figured I would come to one of the best sites on net to get some opinions from people that actually have the products installed on their trucks vs. the "all knowledgeable" sales person at any of the retailers that carry fender flares of any sort.

and THANKS 07fx4silver for the links!!! The EGRs are what I am looking at...but I wanted to hear people unbiases opinions on all brands they have.

Show a picture of your truck. That would help others decide which flare you should be going with.
