IMHO, I like mine NOT to shine, so I'd keep em like that, but I don't know about the chrome bumper and all.

Not much of a "hip" or "style" kinda guy, so take my advice with a small grain of salt bud.

So, do these stick out far (over hang) the bottom corner ? Looks like they are about an inch long, or is that the pic ?

paint the flares shadow grey to match the bottom, then paint the bolts black.
it does look stupid unpainted, its like a tri-color weird look...but thats just my opinion. Once you start putting them in everything goes smooth on the front, the rear pays to have help.

the flares can come off once you get them on, but you may not want to go through that again. I had mine painted before install and everything was ok. just make sure to drill and clean out your holes for the "bolts"

Well I went ahead and put one on the front. Im just gunna take them off when I get the money to have someone professionally paint them. The reason Im waiting is because I want to get my trim and bumpers PTM the truck too and I was wanting to get it all done at once.

Feww the front one was a pain in the ****, I dont wanna know how annoying the back is if you say they are harder. I had to predrill and make my own hole to mount the flares to the truck with those brackets they gave me. The brackets didnt line up to anything haha o well, what I did works just as good :P

I'm with FX4Life on this one, I think they would look great if they were painted to match the DSG. Black bolts would really set it off even more. Just my 2 cents.

These fender flares dont take up any more room than the factory ones, so if you are rubbing now then you will rub with these.

Installed pics in first post ^^^^^^

EDIT: O and I might be getting basically a free 3" Body Lift. My dad just ordered a 2" BL for his Chevy 2500hd and the guy he ordered from has never installed a BL before and offered to install it for free on my dad's truck, so he could learn how to do it. I think he is going to do the same for my truck!!! I sure hope so!!!

I was quoted at $790 or so to have my trim and bumpers PTM, so im just waiting till I can afford to spend that much at once.
