I saw this mod where someone took the stock lights off of an '08 Superduty and put them on his '97-'03 F-150. Is this actually possible? I was wanting to do this and nightshade them since I have a black truck. But I don't know if I can do this?

 

I dont know, but they sure look the same shape, it could very well be possible, how its mounted I have no idea. Search ebay for a used set of new SD tails and try seeing where the mount holes are, if they are in the same location as the 97 - 07 SD/97 - 03 non Supercrew F150, could work!

 

Someone on this forum has done it... I forget but it may be red F-150 and he has a pic of the back of his truck in his signature.

 

yes its possible. but if i remember correctly you will have to extend the reverse light wires because they wont reach on the SD tails. other than that they bolt right up

 

Yes very possible. I like the look of them, but the effectiveness of the reverse light on the top instead of the bottom takes away from the rear lighting.

 

Moving the reverse lights 6 inches up isnt going to make a difference, at least not one you will notice.

 

Eh, still....they look a bit "cartoonish" for me though. I'm holding out for some Recon LEDs
