Lost Another HID
well if the buisness is crap, let it be known. I purchased a xentech kit of amazon, quickautohouse, and one went out. Tried warranty claim, no good. So amazon is going to personally refund my money and I am getting a 55w HID kit from retrosolutions. Should be here either today or tomorrow hopefully. Stock fogs suck :-/!!! I already have the high beam with highbeams mod, but dont even have highs, lol. Because i have projectors they use high/low in seperate bulbs, and dont feel like buying 2. So, I am going to remove the high beam bulb, and replace it with the strobe bulbs. Strobes are the next thing on my list.
Well I've got Xentec and the only two bad things I don't like is the FM interference and no highs. I will buy hi-beam bulbs later on, and put some lead tape around the ballasts to stop interference.
Its not bad business, its bad experiences and every business has them. I bought from HID4U. Two kits and have nothing but good to say. It's bad business ethics for one business to bash on another, what do you think they would say about you as a customer? Would you feel like your business is valued or do they just want your money? No, its bad business ethics. Period.
And one more thing... HID kits are expensive. Ok? They are very expensive. Show me one Lexus or BMW owner who can replace their systems for 80 bucks. I got mine for 160 for both fogs and headlights. Their generic kits and for 80.00 bucks you shouldn't have too much faith or expect to much from a warranty off ebay. Its still a great deal, even if I have to buy them again.
See, what you posted there is background information and it helps to support your claim. Not necessarily proof persay but atleast you added some meat to the argument.
I know that the kits he sells are not the best but have you noticed how all the "better kits" are more expensive? Sometimes it's not about buying better, sometimes, it's about what a person can afford. Yeah, my kits in my truck are not the best but for the price, I am satisfied. Your kits you sell are not the best either because they are still illegal. The best kit would be an OEM retrofit which is way out of my price range, so I get by with what I can afford. That and OEM kits don't exist.
Yes, I run a legitimate business and I too have worked with these type of suppliers. As a business, it sucks because you get the shaft from both ends, bad suppliers and pissed off customers. It sucks. What makes your business better than the competition is you integrity and ethics. It’s the only part of your business that you control. Everything else is a roller coaster ride.

True, and I must say I am impressed with your responses. For reasons I will not divulge, I would do business with you.
I am not saying that HID4U is the best or even worthy of doing business, just that my experience was good and I do not agree with "poisoning someone else's well" when it comes to business without cold hard facts. Of course, if I had had the same experience as some on here have had, I might have a different view.
