Since you have both done, i would love to pick your brain about these, could you give me a more detailed description of the headlights, like exactly what you did and how long it took, and the ease of it all, because i guess i could buy new ones for about 50$ if i screw up but i would love to get the look done first time for the 10 or 15$ you said, just let me know exactly what needs to be done, and purchased. Also exactly how did you mount and wire the front lights, as in what did you use as the mount and where did you bolt it on to the truck, thank you soo much, and let me know, looks awesome!!!!
what's the width of your rims?
I worked on my headlights today.... it was not as bad as everyone says. I put my headlights in the oven on 240 degrees for 10 minutes. pried apart and put back in for another 10 then pulled apart with hands, not bad at all. Then sanded with 320 grit, painted with gloss black, letting dry over night then using RTV to put back together. Will post pictures tomorrow.

Yeah, I read that someone was having problems with that..... I'm going to wait until 24 hours before I put them back together. Thanks for the heads up! I thought the hardest part was getting rid of the old silicone and sanding and cleaning for paint. Paint turned out great left a little chrome on the blinker side to match headlight chrome on side. I think it turned out great. Anyone have good advice about how long to let the RTV dry while being compressed? I want to get this right the first time! Thanks for everyone's help so far!
Put headlights on truck this morning after about 12 hours of RTV being applied. Of Coarse my luck it was pouring down rain this morning but got to work, no foging up or any mosture at all!!! Very excited, will take pictures and post this afternoon. Did things a little different. Painted all gloss black except of coarse the headlight and turn signal area, and left a chrome ring around the side of turn signal to match headlight. I love the Gloss it matches well because I have a black truck.

I broke my digital camera last week in Vegas and I was going to use my girlfriends camera but her battery is dead and she can't find her charger for it!!!! As soon as I get someone's camera I will post pics.
DUDE.....where those pics....I'm waiting to see how the gloss black turned out, cause I'm debating whether to do mine gloss or matte black. Does anyone know if the HD headlights are gloss or semi gloss rather then flat or matte black??? The ones I've seen look slightly more shiny then the flat black ones you can buy on ebay.
