i know this is extrememly off topic right now, esp since my system still isnt working, but since im searching for a new sub, i figured i would ask if a capacitor would make the system sound better, or run more efficient

dont even worry bout that NO is the answer, they are a great boat anchor though

could you wire two subs to the single channel amp? wouldnt it cut down on the power? i would love to run two subs!

of course u can put 2 subson a mono amp. with two 4 ohm svc subs your impedience would be 2 ohms, u have to ;ook at ur amp to see what it puts out at that level

how many watts the amp can produce with a 1,2,4,or 8, ohm load

no capacitor unless you want something for target practice or just want to pay alot of money for some pretty led lights and a voltage gage.



your kicker kx 600.1 puts out 600w rms at 2 ohms. to run i sub 600wrms get a single voice coil 2 ohm or get a dual voice coil 4 ohm. to run 2 subs get 2 single coil 4 ohm subs rated around 300w rms , or 2 subs dual voice coil 2 ohms 300 w rms each

well, it looks like the sub im getting is the dual 2 ohm voice coil, a buddy of mine has one he is giving me for 30 bucks.
will that be a problem?
