That's true, it was more of a wish than anything. I just don't care for the looks of the 6.5 ft bed on any half ton, regardless of cab arrangement. I know you've got one, they're great for work and function. But they throw off the look for me, and this is a truck that will likely be used as a car.

ha... and I'm the opposite... I think a 5.5' bed is a waste of a truck.

At least with the 6.5' I can get an 8' board on the diagonal, and if I put the tailgate down I have a full 8' for hauling lumber.

I would like an 8' bed, but then I couldn't park it anywhere

but to each their own.
... and I do agree that people buying the Tremor will not be hauling a lot of stuff in the back probably...

Good looking grille! May have to pick one up to hold me over till 2016 so I can get in on the second year of the new redesign.

I completely agree with that! Function wise, the 6.5 ft bed is much better. My 5.5 ft bed can barely fit a small go-cart in the back and hauling long items back there is a real PITA. If you're using the truck for work, the 6.5' is definitely better! But, looks wise, I feel a 6.5' has to be lifted in order to have the proper proportions.

8' beds are awesome

While I'm sure this truck has a bit of a niche market, I LOVE that you can now get a RCSB with a PTM outside, and beautiful interior from factory.

Honestly, I am disappointed. I would have rather seen a twin turbo or supercharged 5.0 over the V6 ecoboost. :/

Ya me too dewalt!! A force fed 5.0 is going be pumping like 600hp or more though and Ford would most likely double the price.

Regardless what everyone says they "wished" Ford did with this truck keep it in perspective; this is still a cool looking truck with a great power to weight ratio. Most importantly the F150 is the best truck you can buy today regardless of model. We are just lucky we have so many choices of cab/motor/bed size/ etc etc etc. Thank you Ford.

I'll agree with that, cheef! Other brands suck compared to our beloved Ford. By far the most diverse half ton brand

I totally agree. I loved the look of the 5.5' beds that Ford put on some SCabs a few years ago. A 5.5' bed would look awesome on this truck.

I agree, or maybe even a beefed-up Eco that would really scream, but Ford probably had to take from its existing parts bin that it could cost effectively supply to keep it under a certain price point. The Eco is then a better choice over the 5.0L and I think the 6.2L would be too expensive. But with a name like "Tremor", it should have the 5.0L sound at the very least...a supercharged 5.0L would sure make it a Lightning replacement.

With this interior Ford isn't trying to compete directly with the Ram Express trucks. Build a Sport model Ram, which is closer to this truck and you'll be in the mid 30's, where this truck will land.

Think it'll be higher. EB, leather buckets, center console, 20" wheels. I'm thinking 40ish. Maybe plus.

Desert Dawg, some shop advertising lifts on Craigslist used a picture of your truck in the ad haha. Off topic, but I thought it was funny

It can sticker wherever it wants, but it will SELL for right around 30k max
