A source familiar with Ford's plan told CNBC that it will cost between $23k to $27k.

I'd get one when they come out but my 2011isn't worth much in trade. I've always treated my vehicles like I would trade them in soon. I'm using this truck like I'm going to own it for a while. I guess I'm going to own it for a while. I kind of want a fun to drive car with a manual transmission too. I think that's what I'm going to get next.

Motortrend has a few more pics. A couple of facts I drew out of this pic-
Note the Lariat derived grille-not sure if all fx style trucks, just appearance package trucks, or only Tremors will have this grille. Also, note the gap in the bumper. Does anyone else see the protector they have there? I wonder if this is a new for 2014 thing on all eco's.....

You guys are mentioning sticker prices. NO one pays anything close to sticker. There are threads on this, but trucks (in TX) are 12-14k off right now. Even loaded-all-the-way 4X4 Plats are selling in the low 40s
Crewcab FX2's sell in the mid 30s depending on options. My neighbor got one for 32k with the Ecoboost. Single vs crew cab is 4-5k at least. So 28.5k seems doable to me. 23k I still doubt

If they want a piece of this market they need to bring it in around 25, or offer stripped version at that price point. The Ram Express starts at 23 and is less than 26 loaded. I spoke to an acquaintance who is a salesman at the local dodge dealer and they can't keep the Express on the lot. He also said that all the std cab Hemi trucks sell pretty well.

Actually MSRP including destination charge on a 2013 Ram Express 5.7 is 27. Maybe they sell at 23 after incentives and discounts, but you gotta compare apples to apples.
Considering MSRP including destination on a 2013 XL RCSB with a 3.7 is 26 and a STX is over 27, Ford has some serious pricing work to do.

So this would be a new wheel base... which would bring hundreds of new components.
The price would go through the roof if they tried to make a new wheelbase.
Like I said before - they just recombined existing items to make this truck. Then they added some new seat covers to make it pretty.
