^ absolutely! Especially if a 4wd is lifted, there's a good chance it got beat on. But we still have dozens of people fly down to my dealership each week to buy vehicles, a lot from up North wanting rust-free Texas trucks/vehicles. A lot of us use our 4wd's (Mine's 2wd!), but the flat land and non existant winters let 2wd be viable options for most people. A lot of towing rigs (2wd duallys) down here too.
I wanted a 4wd, but I found my truck for 4 grand less than everything else I was looking at and told myself I could get over the 2wd part haha. For a lot of people, having 4wd is more of a status thing or an "I have a 4wd truck" thing. Most people never use it or use it sparingly. And even then it's to have fun a lot of times

They say that the Tremor will be available in 2WD and 4WD.
It's the same here for the most part. Most people here could get by fine with 2WD. When we get heavy snow, you stay home until they plow.
If you don't need it for work, the reason for having 4WD is so that you aren't as limited where you can go. For a majority of people though, 2WD would be fine.
I have "needed" 4WD only a handful of times since owning this truck. Got me right where I wanted to be.

Up here in snow country, we like to drive on frozen lakes and ice fish. 2WD is ok if you're on a plowed path, get off those trails though and you will need 4WD. I tend to use my 4WD a lot in the winter here, but most if the time its recreational use. Maybe 5-6 times a year I flip that switch to 4WD on road. I can see the tremor being offered in 4wd, otherwise it wouldn't sell here in the Northern states. 2WD trucks are rare here.

But, it was a lame attempt at humor referring to the horrible lack of rain down south. How can there be no mud puddles if it doesn't rain?

The lightning stickered around 32 ish and that was 10 years ago, I don't see any way you'll be able to get one for 30 new. However I do want one. A little drop, tune, exhaust and intake it should move right along. Then when the aftermarket goes nuts because there is now a larger market.
