I had to have the 2008. If I was going to buy an F150 soon, there is no way I would buy the current body style. I love it and I had one, but when the 2009's come out, the 2004-2008 trucks will look dated. I think this is why so many 2004-2008 owners hate the 2009. They are a little bitter that their trucks will look a little dated.
I'm not bitter at all, I think the '09's are straight up just plain ugly.

Try larger gauge cord next year. Apparently you don't know the majority of people on this forum, or you may realize we just might be able to afford our trucks. I'm not trying to make myself feel better at all. I know I have an awesome looking truck that I am more than happy with, and a few changes to the front clip and rear on the '09s won't make me think any less of mine. If you like it, great, I don't, and yes, I could afford one if I wanted it. Sorry, but you just made a dumb comment as what seems is typical of you.

LOL! Please...someone.. fill this kid in on who I am! lol

I'll help you out a little bit.. I have over 3,000 post count over 5 years here not including GD. I'll let that play with your mind for a little bit...

I wouldn't be bragging. If the webmaster had your home address you'd be history.

Congratulations on having over 3000 posts, you just won...nothing. I hope to God all 3000 are not as worthless as the others I've seen. I never claimed to know anything about you. On the reverse, you know nothing of me. This "kid" has gone through high school, university, Army and seen half the world, owned several trucks including my new F150, licensed in a trade, bought a house, engaged, all by 28. I'm not some pup just outta high school (no offense to anyone who is). So you can tell me about all your post count, all about whatever it is that makes you feel better than anyone esle here because you are such a long standing good member, but dumbass comments about people saying people who think a truck is ugly are just not happy or upset because their model is "older" or can't afford it...you obviously don't know the typical truck owner here if that's your case. There are more than several dozen threads already by people saying they hate the new F150 and on the other side, lots of people do like it. You started the issue several pages ago, if you can't see another point of view, especially after being here for so long and seeing so many other opinions, then I stand behind my comment, you're still no one to me. So rack up the thread count with more useless bs, I could't give to chits.

I guess every forum needs at least one internet douche bragging how many posts he had under another user name.

Kudo's!

I bet you in your first go around here you had nothing productive to say either.

I edited a picture of the '09 F-150 to shrink the over-sized chrome grill to be more proportionate to the rest of the truck, and it looks much better. I just can't figure out how to post it.

you are right. I instantly liked the looks of all previous F150 1980 up but dont like the new styling right now.

Last5oh,

Love the pic in your sig. What lake is that on? I should snap some pics when we are on the ice.

Although my shack looks alittle bit bigger than yours.

I would lose the blue maple leaf.....they did win last night though!

Having only been a ford owner for the last year, I had been over by my 05 Supercrew. I was really looking forward to the 09 F150 and was a little disappointed with the styling. Then again, I didn't like the new superduties at all either but now I like th em.

If I had to pick a new 09 truck right now though, it would be the Ram. Luckily I'm in no place to afford a new truck.
