After owning the 2011 FX4 SuperCrew I have made some more observations that I "hate" about the new style.

-Door sheetmetal wobbles when you close the door.
-Going over speedbumps the front suspension brings up or goes fully extended before the body falls back down. Unlike my 04
-No grab bar on driver side for getting in and out.
-No rear wheel fender liner, like my 04 flareside had
-Governor at 98mph
-Auto4wd should be standard
-Theres such thing as Too much room in the back seat. Truck is too long.
-2011 fx4's have blacked out front and rear lights (looks great) but the cargo light is still silver!
-The Hole in the front bumper when you take the License plat off. Looks like something missing.
-The Doors have only two open positions, barely open and fully open, no happy medium.

 

I wouldn't call that a Big Change, but a change for the worst. Man, that is UGLY. Maybe they will do something with the lights to compliment the grill.

 

I think that grill is hideous.. Unless they do a total refresh to let it tie in more.

I don't like the taillights, grill, and tailgate but with the new engine options its kinda had to argue they are attractive trucks. BTW Am I the only one who wishes you could have a crewcab with a 8' bed?

 

No, I've been summonsing the gods for years, but no luck. Maybe the Superduty is in order.
