hmm i like how they kept the similar body style. I really love the 04-08's. I like my grille on my 04 fx4 much more but who knows, my oppinion will probably change as i get use to this one. Interior!, wow very classy! I think ford did a great job with the '09's!

For the record my 04 is way better looking than 09's. As for not being able to afford one, I paid cash for mine, how bout you?

we've had these trucks in our shop for quite some time now. and I didn't like it at all. I saw someone else say why should you have to let the truck grow on you? I knew when I bought my 04 it was THE truck I wanted, and then traded that in for an 07. I WILL NOT be buying an 09. I guess I'm just gonna have to explore my other options whenever the time comes.

Didn't Ford announce they would be refreshing/redoing their vehicles within shorter time frames that before anyways? you could just wait until the '13's (or '14's) are out and are all-new yet again.

...and a DUMB one at that. Revamping vehicles is very costly, and it is avoided as long as possible. It's a basic economic principle, but I won't go into that because I'm sure it would be too advanced for some.

You seriously complain over ANYTHING and EVERYTHING just because you're bitter. It's pathetic and it's getting old. Give it up. Your posts contribute NOTHING and don't accomplish anything aside from derailing topics and filling up space with worthless crying.

Good on top...

On the bottom...

I'm not complaining about anything... in fact you just agreed with me that it does cost Ford a lot of money to revamp a vehicle. I was just making a statement, eh that's all.

It's very costly for company's to revamp their models so often now but very necessary at the same time. In the last 4 yrs we've seen the competition double for Ford (as far as number of competitors) and the same for all the major truck manufacturers. The vast majority of consumers are constantly looking for the latest and greatest so the company's have to give it to them to stay in business. In fact, last year there were some threads on here w/ people complaining that everyone else had a new design, why can't we. Suddenly 4 yrs in frequent enough, imagine how many Ford buyers there would be if the change only happened every 8 - 10 yrs to save the company money. Most everyone on here know an F150 in and out and know that the majority of the changes done to this point was just a facelift, but we hardly represent the actual market. We know that the truck is still lacking on engine capability. Ford is hoping for the other 750,000 buyers to look at a new truck and think that it is now the biggest and baddest on the block.

First, let me start off with – opinions are like “the north end of a south bound burro”…everyone has one and are entitled to their own. That is what makes this country great.

That said, I can recall when I had my 03 FX4 and the 04 came out. I said that it was too boxy and would not ever own one. Now, I own an 06 that I truly love and got zero percent financing to boot.

So, right now I think the 09 is ‘different’, not good or bad, but different. I probably will not buy one but ‘never say never’. Things change and opinions change. Only time will tell.

I just saw the 09 dodge ram. I think they did an awesome job both inside and out. F150 just missed the mark. Still more lux features like air conditioned seats but not enough to make me want to get rid of my 05.
