Stealth, I hate to say it. They look damn close to me.

Gay upside down headlights, raised hood in the front, round fog lights, and bar grilles. The fender/flares are almost identical.

I know your entitled to your opinion, but that is the funniest thing I have read on this forum since I first found it in 1998. The 1500 Sierra I love, the 2500+ Sierra I like, the 1500 Silverado IMHO opinion is fugly in almost all shapes and/or colors, BUT when a 2500+ is seen on the road, I have to literally take off my shoe so I have something to hurl into, as I don't want to make a mess on my beutiful FX4 interior. Funny thing even the guys I know who have bought a new Silverado 1500, point out how ugly the 2500/3500 are... Pot meet kettle...
I stand corrected.... I think the 1500 GMC DENALI truck is one of the best looking trucks on the road. Although I like the 2500 GMC more than the 2500 Silverado, I will admit the the big "gap" in the front grille is hideous. But add a Denali grille to it and I'd be happy.

Wow, is there alot of hateraid in this thread! I think it looks good, for a prototype. You guys do realize that's what it is at this point right? The unfinished interior, 1000 buttons on the dash, all test mule. I really hope Ford puts all the controls from the Expy in the F150. Dual zone climate control, auto 4 transfer case, all of it. The competition has had these two things for years, it's time for Ford to do it as well.

Is it me or does it look like a Tacoma? Ford needs some real designers. People like us who drive their trucks everyday, work on them, mod them out like crazy and always want bigger, better , faster. We should make a list of sh*t we want from Ford and send it to them. Lets see just a few things to begin with, NEW TRANS!!!, bigger gears, power windows & locks in the STX & XL models, Tachs in all the trucks including the XL, Fix spark plug issues, more options (Harley Headlights on all models, different grill styles from factory). Im sure we can all go on and on. Just trying to make a point...

Let's add satellite radio across the board as well.

Gonna side with stealth on this one.... Sure they are both fullsize Ford vehicles so they are similar, but not near the same IMO.

Sure its nice to have all those things, just dont be suprised when your "dream truck" comes in at another 10k sticker to cover all those changes. This is why we have, and always will have, an aftermarket

Funny how the GMC isn't too bad looking at all, but the Sierra is just plain hideous. Guess it's good they decided to make them look a lot more different than each other than the previous iterations where there was very little difference. Now the consumer can buy the ugly one or the decent one.

Now, where's my '09 F-150?

I don't like it; but it's hard to get a complete evaluation from those pics. I'll reserve my final judgment until it shows up at an autoshow.

What year full redo? 2013? 2014?

I might have to agree. Keep my '04 until they actually do another redesign, not a baby tweak and a new grille. More time to save $$$ and my truck will look almost identical to '09-'12 or whatever.

Shortened cycles Ford said, right? So let's see, maybe 2013 or 2014 for an actual redesign?
