[QUOTE=JHiggs] in fact I like the looks of the 2500 GMC more than any other truck on the road today.
QUOTE]

I know your entitled to your opinion, but that is the funniest thing I have read on this forum since I first found it in 1998. The 1500 Sierra I love, the 2500+ Sierra I like, the 1500 Silverado IMHO opinion is fugly in almost all shapes and/or colors, BUT when a 2500+ is seen on the road, I have to literally take off my shoe so I have something to hurl into, as I don't want to make a mess on my beutiful FX4 interior. Funny thing even the guys I know who have bought a new Silverado 1500, point out how ugly the 2500/3500 are... Pot meet kettle...

It's just too obvious. The dipping headlights, the scalloped bumper, the bar grill... should I go on??? The 04-08 F150 has the same front end design as the previous generation Expy too…..

It was no secret what the 09 F150 was going to eventually look like. That’s why these threads were absolutely killing me. It was (and apparently still is) just too funny.

What are you smoking? The '97 Expedition had the same front as the '97 F150. The '03 Expy looked slightly similar, but very different than the '04 F150. The '09 F150 looks, again, slightly similar, but VERY different than the '07 to current Expedition. They are similar in the same way that the Edge is simliar...they are both Fords with some design cues...nothing more.

Alright, alright, I'll present this so that ALL will hopefully see the light....

Forum members, I present to you the 2009 F150:

Roof rack optional....

Again, Totally Different. I guess I need to spell it out for you.

1. The headlights on the ford are on the same plane as the grill (no big Transition area from the headlights to the most forward part of the grill). Very obvious

2. The Grill protrudes forward several inches on the old model and the expy. Again the front end of the new design is very flat and square.

3. The Hood on the Old Expy protrudes out and Rises to meet the Grill. This is dramatically different on the new 150 which is relatively FLAT.

4. Headlights are Completely Different. New design actually reach back to the fender flares and Taper with them. Old Expy Not even Close to Flares.

The Expy below is the same as an 07 but has a fancier grill and headlights, nothing More...

That is one loooooong front door. Bleh.

Oh, and it is completely different from the expy. I always thought the perfect SUV would be an 05 Expy with an F150 front end on it and a leveling kit. Unfortunately I didn't have the gumption to try the Frankenstein project

Still looks like an expedition to me, not an 09 f150.

Maybe you've lost your sense of smell as well, because your sight is absolutely gone.

I really wouldnt sweat it. Ford has had the best looking trucks for quite a while. They know what looks good, I'm sure the showroom models will turn heads

X2, everything we've seen so far has been test mules. When the final production version appears in dealer showrooms it'll be worth the wait.

I don't care what they offer, I'm going to drive my truck into the ground. I love it.

I think RMS8 is right. I saw a 08/09 Expy today and I love the way it looks. Since 1997, the Expy and F-150 have shared sheetmetal and grills and rims.

So yes, I too think the 09+ F-150 will look almost exactly like the Expy
