6.2L boss

well there are rumors of a new engine for the F-150 since it does have the least horsepower out of the bunch now that Chevy has their 6.0L and Toyota has their 5.7L, truck trend reported that the new 6.2L engine that was probably going to be an option in the next model was scraped but people that work at, or live near the Cleveland engine plant say that the casting for the 6.2L engine block has already started. Some more people on this forum have to know something more about this new and exciting engine!

the rumored specs have it at:
6.2L
425+ HP
425+ TQ

well even better because i also heard from some one working in the engineering department of ford that they are wanting to cut some weight off of it yet still keep its class leading strength and rigidity

according to blue oval forums there is a guy that supposedly has connections with ford and he is reporting a 6.2L already clocked at over 400HP.

There are rumors of a 6.2 L, DOHC, four-valves-per-cylinder, twin-turbo, GDI version of the Boss already under development.

no they just didn't put a computer on it to regulate the computerized stuff on engines or maybe they had a computer on it but never factory tuned it
