GM designed/built thier new baby Duramax w/o any involvment from Izuzu, yet Izuzu is not attempting to sue GM?

I read last week Navistar may have signed deal with Nissan to supply L-D diesel. Let Nissan have their problems.

GM may or may not have had a contract with Isuzu stating that they had an obligation to use only their engines for a stated period of time either (which IMO was completely stupid of Ford to sign up for a long term deal like that).

GM also didn't initially sue Isuzu for lack of payment for millions of dollars of previous warranty claims or start taking that money back on their own by not paying 1/3 more for engines than what they were told would cost originally.

The new Powerstroke came in wayyyy over quoted cost and Navistar is sticking it to Ford without a kiss afterwards because of the current contract.

5.8L was the rumored version that could go into a mustang variant
