The manual calls for the spark plugs to be replaced at 100k. I highly recommend replacing the coil boots at the same time. If it is a 5.4 then be sure to do some research about the breakage issues before attempting them yourself. Or prepared for a rather large bill if paying a mechanic to do it.

Welcome!

I would only tune him up if he gets into a lot of trouble!

The truck however needs regular maintenance and that can be found in the owners manual.

If there is a specific mechanical issue then there is a lot of good information on this site.

*Sigh*

Alas, I fear that insensitive prig glc chased her away ....

Nice goin', ya rigid, humourless buckwheat .... <shakes head>

Mod wannabe ... GDR vet, Capon in truth ...

OP - if yer still out there, just report the useless, unhelpful post next time - hopefully it will actually do some good in this case.

And - there is always the Ignore list for 'special fellers' like this - just ask Tarajerame

Good luck!

Regards;
MGD

Sorry I did not specify. 100k for normal operation 60k for extensive idling/low speed operations.
