Painted bumpers black, removed a mudflap that was about to let go

Heck -- I really liked the standard XL rims on your truck! Chrome ones don't seem right on a work truck to me!

I did too! And they would have stayed on there forever if two of them hadn't been slightly out of round and causing crazy vibrations. I went with these so I don't have to keep repainting the painted steel wheels anymore.

I'll have to not polish them for a while and let them get dull. Haha.

Maybe this will force me into PTMing my bumpers!

I do! Haha.

I'd just need to get a smooth primed upper bumper and grille surround. I've heard the textured black type like I have doesn't like to hold paint too well.

Maybe I'll try plastidip first and see how it looks.

The white dip matches your color really well for what it is

Thanks! Good to know as I was a little worried about that. I saw they also have a clear "glossifier" Seems like that would help too.

Yup. And I've seen that dip on a few trucks, its not perfect but damn close for being plasti dip

Should end up similar to smooth line-x with a sheen!

PlastiDip's sales must be going through the roof! That stuff used to only be used for coating tool handles and now people are doing large sections of automotive exteriors with it -- talk about a massive volume increase!

Certainly is! Then again all of the odd materials people have used to make drugs and such it's nice to see that effort go to something a little cleaner .

I am looking at my truck parked on the street...its running bad, and the dealership is telling me I need a new engine...I am wondering how am I going to pay for a new engine?...Its my only vehicle! It's a 7000lb boat anchor right now... That's what I did to my truck this weekend! I stared at it scratching my head! Searching for engines, or any glimmer of hope that it could be something else...
