Thought it would be nice to upgrade the color of the look of the vinyl wood grain. I've seen some do this with camo but I don't hunt so I chose four colors. Brushed Black and Copper on the left with Brown Metallic and Black Carbonite on the right. There is also a larger piece of Black Carbonite on the very upper left. Anyone have any thoughts? I'm leaning toward the Black Carbonite.

I like the brown metallic the best -- not a wood grain or carbon fiber fan.....

Reattached lead for my #8 coil after obviously leaving it not fully on after installing new plugs a couple of weeks ago (brown coil boots, thank God). How did I know you ask? Truck started running terribly and threw a code 30 miles from home. Limped home and read the code as #8 coil. Yep, It was not plugged in properly.
Also put gauges on my HVAC and topped off freon to help keep me cool down here in Florida...

Today I replaced my cluster lights (again) with brighter LEDs. They might be too bright haha. That odometer is obnoxious now.

Also cleaned out and repainted most of the frame and suspension. I went gloss only on the rear shocks just to make them stand out. They were monroe and were silver. Just put them on last fall but started to rust fast. put some por 15 on them and top coated with high gloss. The wheel wells are Rustoleum bed liner and the frame and leaf springs are Rustoleum satin.

2008_xl, I think we could all take a page out of your book. That undercarriage is clean enough to eat off.

Thank you! 7 extremely long salty winters have tried to take their toll on my truck too. It's a bit of work, but it feels good.

tell me about that....if you're anything like me though, the work is nothing vs the result.

Just lost a truck to rust myself...wasnt my fault in any great share, but it is motivation. This summer I'm gonna have to give the survivor a good cancer operation and then get maniacal about protection.
