Great photos Pawpaw! I have said before I feel the best Platinum grill was the '09-'12 model, but I have really grown to appreciate the classy subtle change to the '13/'14 grill along with being paired with the projection headlamps they switched to. Flows very well together especially on silver. I like the lower bumper grill insert also!

Changed my map lights, one had burnt out. Glad that's fixed.

My 05 started bucking at 40/45 in OD a couple months ago. I was waiting for my schedule to line up with my mechanics to get plugs and COPs changed. I fell two days short and it started shaking unntrolably at a stoplight. At that point, it had thrown 4-5 codes. We changed all 8 plus and COPs and all was fine for about a week. I let my truck run while I ran into a gas station and when I came out it was shaking again. I limped a couple miles to work and nervously waited all day to start it that evening. Ran fine most of the way home (about 15 out of my 20 miles) the next morning I started it and had a check engine light but it was running ok, not like it should, but ok. At that point, I was getting P0022. The shop cleaned throttle body and VCT screens and all was well for another week. This happened 2 more times. VCTs were replaced, and then can sensors. After it happened again this past Sunday, I went to my dealer (who was as frustrated as I was at that point) and we weighed options. We crossed off what we had already done but that still left us with a long list of things to tackle, cats, timing chains, cams, all the way up to replacing the engine. I had them evaluate it as a trade and was more than happy with their offer, so I left with a 2010 Lariat. I certainly hope yours doesn't go down that path! As much as I like my new truck, it's hard to let go of something that you put so much time and effort in to make it "just right" best of luck man!

Yikes. Quite a story! If mine ends up needing an engine I'm quite sure I will trade it in after a through de-modding. I have the OEM wheels with OEM size BFG A/T KOs, stock valance, a OEM FX4 grill fully painted, and a bit of other stuff. At the same time I am a measly couple thousand away from having title in hand and am looking forward to keeping a payment free year or two in the future. On a side note, I really do want a 2011+ blue flame FX4! I'l just hope that plugs and COPs are my issue for now.

No, that was one of the things on the list of possibilities. I decided to go with the new truck over dumping any more into searching for what may or may not be the issue.

All I kept were rims and tires, left the lights, bull bar, grille, and exhaust. They told me they will be removing the exhaust and I can have what I want from it. I'm torn between doing the same thing on the new truck or trying something different. Something has to be done soon though, way too quiet for me!

Today I installed my new "DIY Cargo Fence Net" that I made in a couple evenings this past week while watching TV, etc.

I think it came out really nicely!

Before / After removing the hoodliner, main reason for removing it is that I will get a custome CAI and increase boost to #18, so I want to hear it whine!

Got hit with some snow tonight and tomorrow is expected to be -18! Canada weather in PA it seems lol.

Took a pic of the car and the truck was nice and clean behind it!

Enjoy that weather while you can. We haven't had snow for a week and a half, and averaged 60 f. Kind of nice seeing someone else dealing with it! Haha.
