Official what did you do to your truck today thread.
I saw that pic though
I imagine she was shaking pretty nice above 40 MPH from mud on the wheels haha.
Those places are getting insane! I swear a few years ago $3 used to be enough to clean your truck off. I need $8 just to clean it when there's no mud. Can't fit in drive-through washers anymore . . . My apartment I'm at now has a pair of full-on spray booths though, except they cut they pressure so it's basically a garden hose, but hey, it's free.

and each quarter is only 45 seconds.. but i've got lots of practice washing my truck off in under 6 minutes from mudding so much in highschool
and yes! the death wobble was insane having about 10 pounds of mud on each wheel
You have pics here? Or a link?
, but in reality, I tried keeping it lower so I could add techron to it for pre-spark plug work. But that was supposed to happen last summer
. 2015 is definitely the year though. As for kill to drive it to work once a weak, yes. My work is a 1/4 mile of dusty dirt to get to the office, and a 27 mile run in the dusty salty winter roads with other vehicles spewing debris as they pass by in the opposing lane. So i'm amazed with myself that I took it out the other day. It does have some dust on it, but a little dust is ok to ensure everything mechanical is operating.
I should have never bought this truck the way I take care of it
. And to think, I want either a '03/'04 Mustang Cobra, or a '00/'02 Trans Am WS6, and this is how I treat a Lariat F150 with high miles...
Sometimes i'm cheap and don't want to fill it

Started it up for the first time in a month or longer and took it for a drive to keep things 'activated'. Currently sitting at 124,414 miles. I have some concerns about letting it sit over the next couple months this winter. It stays in my non-heated garage on concrete floor. I inflate the tires to 50 psi, remove the battery, and have rat bait and moth ***** under it. Otherwise, I don't keep the tank full cause I tend to start it monthly. Any small tips for staying parked a month at a time? Think taking the wipers off bringing them inside is going too far? Should I keep the tank full anyway?
I plan to insulate the garage this summer and get a heater in there ( tapped to the house's gas line ). Keep it a decent 60 degrees or so.

My concern that some say you should start it every month or so. I never did this. Reason why is you don't let the engine fully warm up its like glass of water with ice in it when it melts the outside sweats, inside its still cold engine wont heat up without going for a drive. But since you take the truck for a ride even though it will be exposed in salt dust (when weather permits) you 'll be ok. Once you get the garage heated you can let it sit all winter without starting/driving until Spring!

Sorry for the long post

when I park my good truck for the winter, I just start her and sometimes drive her on the property, a few times each weekend I'm home (generally every 2 weeks). that's about all and it never seems to hurt her, so you folks should be fine
. As for waxing the bed, I didn't ever do that, however I am rockin' the BedRug bedliner
. But I personally feel with a hard fiberglass lid, you can't use it as a truck anyway, so might as well be a big ole trunk. I love, and hate the cover. With my old truck I used to wax my frame. That's right, OCD back then too! That 2004 had a beautiful frame. I swear it had never seen salt until I bought it.

If I had a Terminator Mustang though, it would get the same treatment. I want speed, but I wouldn't build it to be a race car. I'd just cruise with it like my truck. My only requirements would be OR/X, and Borla Stingers! Theres a guy on YouTube my exact age living the life I dreamed of. He reviews cars and Vlog's on YouTube often. Excellent channel and great cars. Here is the Terminator he reviewed/test drove.
You have a good list as to the proper procedures! When I park my Lincoln for the winter, I fill up the tank, over inflate tires, change the oil, take battery out and let it sit till April or so.
