changed the fuel filter. How can so much crap get in the gas?!?!?! Emptied out all brown and cloudy with sand and dirt!

'06 had two different fitting/line sizes...older is 3/8" and newer is 5/16".

Today I got a quote from a body shop for how much it will cost to have my bumpers PTM from the XL gray... Scheduled to get it done on July 6, can't wait.

Drove it!

I've been driving my daily (Camry) and I missed my truck, so I took her for a spin.

I don't know if this counts though.... :P

Just replaced my fuel filter and cleaned my MAF. I hate to admit that at 67K it was the first time doing the filter. I had a hell of a time with the outlet connection. I had a set of the cheap plastic disconnect tools laying around and I could not for the life of me get the ring pushed in far enough to release the connection. I ended up mashing the tool I was pushing on it so hard. Went and picked up a slick aluminum one and it "popped" apart nice and easy. Amazing how much better jobs go with proper tools vs. cheap ones. After seeing how much black/brown sludge came out of the filter's inlet, I'll be changing it a lot more often now, lol.
