Exhaust is finally done!

Hey yall, I finally got to ordering for my 2 borla pro xs mufflers from summit and my x pipe off ebay last week if yall remember. Well today was finally the day the guys at Sooner Muffler could put everything on for me. Dropped the truck off at 9, they started on it at 10 and were done by 2. They were nice enough to call me and ask if I planned to keep a spare in the back and bent the pipes as much as they could and it should fit a 35" spare under the truck. Great guys to deal with at Sooner Muffler thats for sure. They also put tips on for me, 3.5x18". I was extremely excited the first time I got to start the truck up. Sounds just like I wanted it to, real deep rumble and isn't annoying at all inside the cab. Anyway way to long of a narrative. Heres a few pictures and a video this morning before the exhaust. I'll make you wait till tomorrow morning to get a video of how it sounds now.

Looks good, glad you are happy with your new setup. Takes some bravery to drop your truck off to be worked on, I couldn't ever do that, not at all trusting.

Just dont trust people. Ever since I had gears put in my old WS6 and got it back scratched, and seeing the guy who did the exhaust in my Silverado accidentally hit my tailgate with the OEM Y pipe trying to put it in the bed. I was happy I was able to mouth him off for that one. And I just dont trust anyone wandering around it.

Agreed I dont let people touch my truck unless they let me back in the shop to watch. Had a bad experiance with my GTO and a guy torching some wires on it while doing exhaust work.

Thanks alot yall, I feel like I gained mpg from this new set up. because even with all the revving and just stomping on it at lights my computer is still showing more than .5 mpg better than what I normally get (and I drive pretty conservatively). I went from behind the cats. and ROLL TIDE guys!

Ill take a video in the morning when I crank it up to have some sort of comparison. I don't see it sounding the same though compared to in person.

Got a video of starting the truck this morning. But man it just doesn't do it justice at all. Sounds so much higher pitched. But I'll uploaded it after work tonight if I remember for anyone who wants to hear it.
