Just bought my girl. And i am replacing the gas tank. I order a new one but i noticed the old one had what looks like plastic with some kids black glue stuck to it where the tank touches the bottom of my truck. The new tank did not come with this and i was wondering if anyone knew what it was called. I contacted my local dealer but they were no help they seemed kinda gggrrr i am replacing it myself. So if anyone could help I'd be very greatful.

Thanks
NewTruckGirl

I put in FX2 headlights and swapped out the factory bulbs for Philips Xtreme Power bulbs. Light output is MUCH improved.

Changed the oil last night, 7 quarts of Amsoil XL replaces Amsoil OE and will be doing a analysis to compare to Motorcrafts I used earlier.

In the process of installing heater core bypass valve. Got all of the parts this weekend and have been doing it in steps when I have time.

Today, I got an EGR solenoid valve rigged to open/close the bypass valve. All of the vacuum lines are rigged and set.

Tomorrow is going to be the switch and relay to actuate the solenoid.

When they come in the mail, 2 7" fans for the condenser will run off of the same relay.

Super A/C in the future! Gotta love Georgia heat...
