little late, but i changed the oil and finally made the swap to Motorcraft filters, cleaned it, and ran her around a bit from sitting.

Went to replace fog lamp bulb an noticed a ton of water leeching down the wire harness to the lamp socket. I don't know how but it seems to have been accumulating in there awhile. I removed a section of the loom and made a drain at the bottom of the wire loop. It seems water actually passed through the bulb (is that possible?), it was wet on both sides... removed and dried out the assembly. put it all back seems ok...

Attempted PTM on the grill emblem..... major fail.. buying one off ebay tomorrow...

and got the fronts re-balanced shimmy shake gone...

Replaced my Throttle body today, My wife could have done it. Noticeable improvement in response and seat of the pants feel. So happy I didn't pay the dealer 559.99 to do this. One of the easiest repairs I have ever done. Got the part's from Rock Auto and saved over 300.00 from the dealer price.

Put on my tow mirrors since the stock smaller ones power adjust stopped working... I know a bunch of people dont like these kinda mirrors but they are sure provide a lot of viability which is really nice.

Got my truck lifted more today. 2" added in the front and the rear block taken out and replaced with a larger anti-wrap block and AAL.

like seeing posts about people using their trucks, not fixing things, so today i drug a 2 place jetski trailer all over the place through woods and yards, getting old skis to part out, all with a single trailer in the bed. not a single problem. running like a champ. gotta put plugs in it soon

Took it on a 200 mile round trip excluding the estimated 50 miles of moving stuff from one house to another! Ran like a champ!

Scraped the rear bumper and tailgate against some fallen limbs today while helping future aunt n uncle in law move some stuff from one house to the other--would have been nice to have back-up sensors on my STX right about then lol

But hey, what's a truck without a few dents, dings and scratches? I'm slowly realizing that my STX was never meant to be a Lariat Limited, so once I finish the Flow Through project off with the proper dash, I'm planning on cooling it for a while (except for touching up paint and cloth interior)

Looks great!!

Did you upgrade your mirrors? I didn't think the 06 and below came with 2 piece mirror covers. I am really wanting to paint mine but I don't think they are 2 piece.
