Exclamation Lift done! 2" added to my fabtech

Hey everyone,
Truck is finally back home after a day in the shop! Had a 2" Zone leveling kit put on my 6" Fabtech and a 5.25" Rough Country Anti-Wrap block put in the rear along with a 1.5" AAL. Brought the rear up a ton and the truck looks so much better sitting level. But pictures are worth 1,000 words.... so...

Before:

After:

Out of the shop:

Got dark so didn't take any measurements. But it looks level to me now, the tailgate jumped up about half a foot. And now I don't rub at all.

I can post up more pictures if anyone wants to see anything.

quick question, how did you add the 2 " to the fabtech, and are your CV axles on a hard angle now or were you able to keep them level? i ask because my set up is similar to what you stated but i am now having issues with the CV's. its in the shop getting a body lift to fix some rubbing issues and I am completely out of ideas to get this CV issue Squared away.. thanks in advance for and info..

I put a 2" Zone leveling kit on in the front and a 5.25" block+AAL in the rear.

Here's a picture of the angles underneath the truck. There isn't anything too extreme. Part of the reason I went with a 2" leveling kit instead of 2.5".

Hope that helps! Need anything else let me know.

He's 2wd, so not a good comparison. post up a photo of your angles in this thread or a new one.

Barrett, consider ditching that steering stabilizer if it doesn't need it. They've been known to put too much stress and snap a tie rod. You shouldn't need it anyways.

I lifted my front using the 5100's and also set it at 2 inches. Reaching for the extra 1/2inch means a lot of compression to the spring, even with the shocks being 1" longer overall. I like the look, driving isn't much different with 38 PSI in the tires, but the hood is up there now and the truck looks nice to me.

Not sure how common an issue this is as there are not a lot of members here running stabilizers, but this link scared the crap out of me:

Broken Steering Rack

Truck looks better than a 4x4 now Barret!

I don't need to see any suspension pics, but I do need to see the pics of the Tow mirrors you were supposed to get installed on the truck.

Come on, truck is begging for them now with the added height!
