Replaced the broken drivers door pillar assist handle. Got thoroughly disgusted at Ford for trying to pass that off as quality... Or even safe. You want me to grab on, and haul my 300+ lb butt up into my truck pulling on PLASTIC? Those engineers are a special kind of stupid for sure...

Finally gave her a wash and wax. Updated pics of my sliders and window tint coming soon. I only went with 35% on the front (wanted to stay legal), clear blue on the windshield and the strip across the top of the windshield (stayed with 35% here as well).

i have a 2012 stx regular cab, 2wd. today i washed it, waxed it. i also ordered the svt raptor/ Harley black front and rear lights. really want to get rid if the shiny lights.
A couple weeks ago, i took the one sincle spacer i had left on my bell-tech struts. so the truck is now 3.5/5.5 drop. i like it better because now there is a slight rake, and the top of the wheel wheels (front/back) are almost exactly the same height. i have bell tech flip kit/from struts/shocks, and airlift helper bags, that i still need to install)
next project - figure out if i want to just buy the airlift kit to do auto leveling with my helper bags, or order the sensors and The compressor separate. i want this so when i load the dirt bike(s), or hook up my 16 ft toy hauler, the truck will set the level as the truck gets loaded. anyone on here, reading this, have auto leveing on teh rear of their truck?

Took my old badges off as prep for '12 appearance package ones. Got 5% tint all the way around on Friday, I can barely see out the back window! Also got a spray-in bedliner a few days ago

Okay yesterday. Hit 2 spots on the back of the cab / front of the bed that had the paint rubbed through by the toolbox, with Evaporust, let it do its thing, then rinsed. Dried it off. Tonight should be sanding / feathering and possibly masking and hitting it with the first coat of primer. Planning on 2 coats primer, probably 3 color depending on what happens wet sanding, then clear...

Took my bed / cab critical dimensions into Sketchup, and laid out "blocks" to build around. Starting to work on a pop up slide in camper plan. I have been looking for just the right slide in camper, and none really fit what I want. Most are oriented toward cold climates. I need something designed for interior comfort in the HOT Texas sun. Have an 8K BTU A/C unit to donate to this project already, and an engineer friend of mine that does metalworking as a hobby more or less ready to weld up the aluminum frame once we get the design finalized. Looking for a decent supplier of 1/4" pine plywood to act as a simple form layer for the intended fiberglass outer skin.

And you are posting this without photographic documentation? GTFO!

Truck has got a little bit of stuff lately. Bought tires, 35x12.5 Toyos which I recently returned for 295/60 Nitto Trail Graps sice the Toyos were going to rub the UCA. Pics.

Toyo next to my 4yr old/52k miled 33" Toyos

The Trails.

And I finally got a Bedrug. Love it!!

Tomorrow I'm tackling the rear diff. pinion seal job, then ordering Moog lower ball joints. Then its just a matter of tearing it apart and installing, then pushing the Toyos to their last mile and getting the Nittos on!

I need to do a spark plug change too....
