led switchback turn signals

Ok, call me crazy for spending $55 on turn signal bulbs. These are the switchback type 2 led turn signal bulbs from V-leds. I got rid of that ugly egg yolk from my headlights and got some cool bright a** blinkers all at the same time. I didn't have time to install the resistors yet to fix the rapid flash but I do have them. Tell me what you think.

Just install an electric flasher from any auto parts store. It's like 10 bucks and takes 30 seconds. Those bulbs are pretty sick. I keep meaning to pick up the bigger ones, nice and bright.

I've already got the resistors but I may hold off on putting them in until I get the 92 led brake light bulbs for my tails and do it all at once. What flasher do I need and where is it located at to replace it?

Alright here's a couple pics of the flasher location. It's under the dash on the driver's side. You don't have to remove any panels to get to it.

Basically right behind this metal plate.

That blue plug is the plug for the flasher.

As far as I know the flasher has to be 12 volts, five terminals and electronic.
The one I have is a Tridon EP27

Hope this helps.

So is this as simple as buying the flasher and it fixes all LED tail and blinker issues. Is the Tridpn EP27 labeled as "Trailering"?

Sounds like a winner. I will go to Advance today and see if they have one. That will be much better than resistors from what I was reading online about it. Do you have leds all the way around? It should work for all the turn signals right? Thanks

Those are actually pretty cool looking, different. I like how the white fades back in. During normal driving, the glow is white instead of orange I assume? Do you have any daytime pictures of these LEDs in the housing?

That is pretty cool. Idk if I'd like eliminating all of the amber though when the signals aren't being used. Definitely a clean look though.

Very slick, just wondered if the LED's without the resistor knocks off the cruise control when you use the signals. Heard that it does that if resistors are not used.

I didn't see anything about tailering. Just make sure it's electronic because they do sell the other kind(not even sure what they're called)

The glow during the day is white. It looks so much cleaner than having the egg yolk in there and I'll take pictures today.

Don't know yet. I drove with the cruise on yesterday morning and used my signals and it didn't knock the cruise because of hyperflashing. I got the flasher that fixed the flashing and did not drive that truck home from work so I don't know about the cruise with that new flasher.

Yes it does say trailering. I will post a picture of the package and the flasher tonight with the daytime pics.

Worked perfect. You didn't tell me the flasher sound would change. lol. I actually like that sound better though.
