PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS PICS Please....

Hey Guys,

So I just installed a 6000K HID kit in my Heads...

Thinking about going with some projectors...

PLEASE Show me your 04 - 08 F150's with projectors.

I want to see what my options are. Have seen some on the Bay.

I'm kind of trying to keep it or find something as close looking to OE as I can...

Thanks in Advance.

have you checked out the Recons? http://www.gorecon.com/products.php?p_cat=82

A little pricey at 399, but they are 15% off right now with coupon code E62009

I like Smokey's headlights the best because it's a single housing set up. I don't like how it looks like a reflector housing, and I'm not really keen on the turn signal area.

If I could get those but with the projectors like the Recons, I'd be all in.

That's actually what I like about smokey's, is because they look like the factory headlights, only with a projector in the middle. At a quick glance, or to people not familiar with the F150; they'd never notice. I do agree about the signals, but it's not a deal-breaker. If I was brave enough, I would buy a pair of bezels/projectors made for a Lexus or other bi-xenon OE design. then I'd open up the stock housings and mount the OE HID projectors in the housings and seal it back up.

It's cost about the same as the Recon units, but it'd be the factory headlights and would have a better beam pattern/cutoff than anything you could buy aftermarket. I just don't have the money to buy a pair of used headlights to swap in while I do my chrome ones. I also don't want the angel eye/halo thing.

smokeys looks to be a regular housing with a lends on the end to make it look like a projector. take a pic at night, i guarantee it has no cutoff like projectors should

I've been thinking about that... I have my OEM headlights sitting in a box right now. My wife has an Acura TSX with HID headlights and I love the cutoff she's got. It's not a bi-xenon design though.

Any idea where to get just a good set of projectors, eBay I suppose?

I'd like to see the cutoff on the Recon's.

Those are sharp Smokey, any pics of the cutoffs?

To the OP, I'm in the process of having a retrofit done now. My plan is to retain the stock look by keeping the chrome housing (my truck is blue). It may be longer than you're willing to wait to pull the trigger, but I plan to post pics in a couple months once they're done and on.
