hmm its close, you would def need to trim the fenders... not worth it in my opinion. Did the Mark LT come with hid too??? that looks like it would be a direct fit

The Mark LT is a direct fit, but I don't think there have ever been projector housings released for that truck since it's based completely off the F150. The Navigator isn't based off the Expedition entirely, so lots of things were altered. There are lots of people running aftermarket HID bulbs on their MArk LT's, but I haven't seen any with OEM projectors. And yeah, the Navigator housings would need some modding either to the housing or the body of the F150, and they still wouldn't fit or look right.

I've seen projectors in two different fashions. One is just a lense protruding about an inch or so in front of the socket for the headlight bulb. If I'm wrong, someone please corect me. The light may shine in front through the projector, but the majority of the light from the bulb is diffused onto the reflector, actually illuminating the road just like your factory headlight would. These are nice because they are not as blinding as a purpose-built projector, and they do not have a vertical limiter plate as seen in my image above.

The other projector has it's own housing for the convex lense. The light in this little housing is totally reflected inside and aim at the lense, giving total illumination from one point, almost like a magnifying glass. This is why the light is so bright in the very center, and gradually shines less going toward the outside. These are blinding because their main point of illumination is so small, but they produce unparallel lighting (in my opinion).

I've never seen the light output from the set that Smokey has. In fact, it would be helpful if Smokey took some images.
That is a really nice cutoff. For the love of God, what projectors are you using and where did you get them? Also, did you have to do some splicing to power the high-beam bulb? Just curious...

Seriously, why aren't we more focused on this kind of picture that actually shows performance of the projector rather than focusing on how they look on the truck? At a minimum, they are equally important.

AGREED! Can some people please post one picture of the housing, one picture of the lights projected onto a wall or door similar to the one above and a description of where you purchased the light, dollar amount, and any modification to the light? That would GREATLY appreciated.

new lights

Just put them in, still waiting for the HID's to come from DDM, bought 4 so I got HID on HI and LO beam. In Canada and have to keep daytime running lights, so I wired the fog, halo, and LED's to key on power to serve as DRL.
These are just cheep ebay lights from K2 motors, $112.
And yea when I'm done all 10 lights facing forward will be able to be used at once, (lots of deer/elk around here) off hiway of course.

For some reason that does not look right. I wonder if its the reflector bolw or the lens, or spacing thats doing that.

You are rite, I was only about 5" from the door so the light did'nt spread much, and those are the crappy cheepo bulbs, I'll back it up and see what it looks like.

duh, I don't have room to gace it up, Supercrew + longbox = tight squeeze! I'll wait till dark and use the outside of the door.
