Can't find 5100s at Summit to level '05

What am I doing wrong? Once I pull up a 2005 F-150 and look in the shocks/struts, the only thing they list for 4x4 is not adjustable.

Sorry for such a dumb *** question, but I've been digging through threads here for over half an hour trying to find someone explaining some sort of detail on how to find the damn things but I haven't had any luck.

Can someone please help me out?

Thanks!

Is that the one I need to level it? I found those but they say nothing about adjustment. Don't want to spend $350 on the wrong stuff.

Why don't you look up the info on bilstein's website and compare part #'s with the ones on summit's site then you will know if they are the right ones.

The lift is not adjustable. I have the Rancho equivalent and all these springs do is lift the spring mounting plate to increase the spring rate and provide lift. The Bilstein's may have to two positions for the spring plate, stock and lift. Once you go with one or the other, that's it. You can only change it be taking the strut/spring assembly apart.

I don't think those are the right shocks. The picture is wrong and the part number should be F4BE5C298H1. I've had issues with Summit when it comes to parts being wrong.

Here is the link to them on shockwarehouse.com.

Thanks, Windsor and Impact!

I was aware they're not adjustable without disassembly- perhaps adjustable was the wrong word?

Either way, thanks, guys!

Make sure you get the 4WD shocks. They make a similar version for 2WD and it will physically fit on your truck. You just won't get the lift you are expecting. Summit's part numbers usually reflect the manufacturer's part number, so I normally check the manufacturer's website for correct part numbers before ordering. I've had problems with some of Summit's listings before too.
