For anyone thats ordering an edge, i would strongly recommend just buying a gryphon. If im gonna spend 20K plus on a truck, then i can afford a few more bucks for a Gryphon.
Since nobody answered your question, i figured i would. I have never seen the edge in an autoparts store. I have seen it in a off road truck shop, but they only had one. You can order it online and get it shipped overnight if you are in a time crunch.

I would assume they could if you could give them a physical address to the hotel and a room number. It would probaly be best to call them and check though. Yes the Edge will be fine for your truck....a big improvement over stock, and I'm sure you'll be pleased.

yeah, they should at least be able to ship it to the lobby. I would get the hotels address and put my room number as well, then tell the lobby you are waiting for a package
Painting the pod
Well, seeing as how the Edge and the Gryphon pods are identical, what kind of paint has everyone used, and did you get it to match good? (Got any pics?)

The new edge pod came in silver that matched the dash perfect. It wasn't black like the original pods were.
BTW....that interior would kill me! It would be so hard to keep clean. My interior is black, chrome, and carbon with grey leather.

You can buy the grey one from Edge separately. I haven't checked any dealer prices but it is $45.00 on the Edge website.

If you have a CAI, you don't really benefit without custom tunes.
In fact, anyone know what a custom tune for a CAI+Exhaust actually tunes?
Why do you say that? There is still an air flow sensor and computer controlled injectors. The stock computer will add more fuel to the mixture without or without the Edge. It does this all its life as the air temperature and/or altitude changes.

Yeah, I got an email out to Bill to see what he says. But the above doesn't pass muster for me.
If the MAF can't record all the flow, the PCM can't reprogram it. Only a different MAF can fix the problem. Same with the injectors. They can only put out so much fuel and the computer can't change that. Same again for the O2 sensors. Either they can see all the unburned air and tell the injectors to compensate or the O2 sensors themselves need to be changed.
I can guess at what he does though now that I haven't got two bottles of wine in me. O2 sensors are only good to 3000rpm or so. After that a preprogrammed chart is used to mix fuel and air under the assumption that it is pulling as much vacuum as it can. He can reprogram the chart to be richer. But how much richer will be a guess (possibly based on experience) on his part because different intakes will flow different amounts of extra air.
I'm not saying the Edge/Gryphon isn't useful. Just advancing the timing from 83 octane to 87 will result in more performance. But I am highly skeptical that an intake and cat-back exhaust require any changes to the computer unless you also run higher pressure injectors and a larger diameter, better sensor MAF.
