Winters almost here

With snow around the corner I'm wondering how much weight yall are putting in your bed, and what are you using?

I had to scrape ice and snow off my truck this morning, and yesterday. We've had a few small blizzards over the last week, but no serious accumulation, although the grass was covered this morning. Barrie, which is just north of Toronto got 22 cm's of snow yesterday, and a bunch more last night, so winter is here.

I don't put anything in my bed, but then I have a 4x4.

You're in Minnesota? I'm surprised you haven't had any snow yet. I'm sure the temperatures have dropped dramatically where you are though.

You need a tonneau cover.

Very true, making up the funds for one is quite difficult at the moment though. I want something like the Bakflip or that one that looks like a soft one, but nearly strong enough to stand on ( forgot the name, but it was about $600 ).

At least you're going for a hardtop tonneau. Good plan. I have a Pace Edwards roll up style, but I sure wouldn't stand on it. It does handle the weight of the snow without a problem though. I just use a long handled broom to push off the snow, and it's stealthy in that it sits flush with the bed rails.
