I can't see photobucket links at work but I can read your label "ugly" and get the idea...

Mighty funny. Hilarious. Can't stop laughing. Hard to breathe.

well since my brother in law has a shop and he did most of the work, it wasnt alot, most of the things were borrowed just to make that power.. i dint take it to the track since i only had that much power for a week or so but it was around 10k outta my pocket

I'm not trying to start any arguments because I drive a Ford but I'm also a Honda guy and honestly obtaining 500hp in a Civic isn't as hard as it used to be but it WILL cost you some money. I'm drive my buddies 225whp all motor Civic at HPDE's all the time and it holds its own. If you slap a K-series motor (RSX Type-S) in a hatchback and build it correctly it's not unheard of to be making 300whp all motor.

Now this has come a LONG way from what it was even 5 years ago. Build it right and turbo and you can easily be in the 400whp range. I think 500 takes some more work but it's not unrealistic. It's all about how much money you want to spend.

Back to the original topic, unless the F-150 had a boatload of mods or the Integra was having major problems I don't see a F-150 pulling a boosted Integra.

And just to show you what 225whp can do in a Civic hatchback here's a few videos of me driving it. I can't imagine having 500 but you would have some MAJOR traction issues. Having it as a track car would be useless.

And I'm not claiming to be the best driver!

They call SRT-4 skittle because of the colors they came out in, and the rounded body look. So when you got a group of them together people said they look like a bunch of skittles.

There are a lot of them shines. My sisters stock civic si is 190hp and a six speed manual. ddign a turbo can easily push it up in the 400's. Most of the ricer guys have built internals put in and can handle lots of boost. My old roomate runs a DSM (Declipse, laser, talon)shop that strictly deals with modding and making them fast. He has a 1995 700hp mitsubishi GSX. That thing will burn all four tires on pump gas! He has methanol injection which helps a lot.

Face it, you own a 6000lb truck, NOT a sub 3000lb sports car. Unless you make in excess of ~ 600ft-lbs at the tire, your truck isn't going to be very quick. Takes a LOT of torque to set a 6000lb mass into motion.

Whoa, thanks for telling me that, I never realized it in the last year of owning the truck.

Yeah I aint saying these trucks are fast, and thats not exactly what I bought my truck for in the first place anyways, but for as slow as they are they hold their own to alot of other vehicles better then they do to an SRT4.

true...and just because it's an import or has a turbo, doesn't make it Gods Gift to Vehicles. I am well aware of the weaknesses of a V-8. I am in Hawaii after all. You would not believe the stuff that's out here. Ricer heaven

For example, I raced a 04 Cobra with a Pulley, Predator tune, CAI, Race fuel, and X-pipe from 60-130mph with me on pump gas and put a car on him by the end of the race.
That probably sounds insane to you but that would be because you arent familiar with powerbands, power to weight, or gearing advantages.
so, a car with 390 hp stock, and those mods...makes about 450 hp (underestimating. more likely 500 hp. a tune and pulley alone usually gets you 430-440 hp)...at a roll...in the MIDDLE OF HIS POWER BAND...and while he is pushing max boost
you had to have raced a guy who had no concept of how to drive his car.

Termies have a reputation for a reason. That's not love of "American Muscle" talking. Just a numbers game. They are very fast evil cars that can run down Vettes. 99% of skittles on the road would be a plaything for them. I can see a I-4 winning on long drawn out 150+ match-up because they love to rev over 6,000 rpm vs. the 4.6 which ain't happy in the 5,500 rpm + area

We had owners of every type at our local car meets, A Turbo LS1 camaro (STS kit; fastest car I have ever come across), N/A TA's on spray, RX7's, EVO's, Cobras, a GT500, KB 05 GT (<-- beat me by two cars with him on race, me on Methanol injection low boost)
you in Everett or Bremerton? there is a guy who works at Bangor with a 2002 Silver T/A. LS1 with Turbo @10 psi last we talked. When we were on the boat together he ran 500+ HP and over 525 TQ on the Dynojet in Tacoma. That is a car I respect. I have never been 0-100 that fast in my life. Scared me so bad I refused to ever ride with him again. The video of him pulling front tires off the ground re-inforced my decision.
I've got another bud on Bangor with a 1997 Silver Vette, LS1 with S/C. Running 12 psi I believe. He was playing with sport bikes last fall before the weather got bad. Cars had gotten boring for him. Another car I respect.

even the most die hard Domestic owners had respect for the "skittles" for what they could do.
I aint knocking the power of the skittle. I knock the surrounding sheet metal. It's a Neon. Kind of like the Probe that Ford intended to become the next Mustang
I'm not making my posts as an attack on you man

you guys should check out the newest STI. My current Cheif just got his PCM tuner in and we were playing with it. It just has too many dag-gum buttons to control it IMO. It would be better with a simple Traction Control On/Off switch and nothing else.
