I say you beat the driver, and not the car, which is still a win.
my truck is stock, but i was the only one in it, the ls had atleast three drivers, of big size plus it was a big gurl driveing who didnt quite shift good

Let's make it a more accurate competition:

Drag race (at a strip)
Hot lap a road course
Have a tug-of-war
Mud drag race
Hill climb

best of 5 series.

yeah, unless you dumped some serious cash into it, and knew what you were doing..... thats a stretch.

I mean it is possible, but not too many people have them running around. Also strange that you said it was "quick" and you took a vette once. With a 487fwhp Civic, it would be very fast, and would decimate a vette, or Cobra, or pretty much anything else running around stock.

nice kill

i took a srt-4 once. the car was faster and he was pulling on me, but every time he shifted he lost all his gains and then some. you gotta hit those shifts just right if you want to keep up with a quick shifting auto... thats why serious drag racers use auto's

hell I believe my wifes 4dr civic could take my truck. They are probably the worlds slowest trucks out on the road.

I actually lost to one coming back from school yesterday on the highway. By the way it beat me, it had to be a 10 second car. I’ve raced against many 10 second cars at the track and on the street, so I know a 10 second car when I see one. But damm, those skittles are sure ugly.

Someone should have told the SRT driver that the PCM is calibrated for WOT shifting. I WOT shifted everything but 1-2... that was way too fast, but other then that keep the gas to the floor, maintain full boost, and a quick blip of the clutch with the shift and you have zero lag, and no power loss.

You stated the obvious. The car is a Neon, doesnt share much with the other model Neons, but at the end of the day, most of the neons will WALK a good majority of the cars on the road.

Also dont forget that the new GT500 KR is just the same as those rental car V6 mustangs at hertz..
