I just ordered mine today. I got them for $312 shipped to Cincinnati. I talked to Matt from tasca and he was really knowledgeable and informative. Thanks for the advice on ordering from tasca everyone!

Im just about to place the order on Tasca for mine. Im stoked. I keep hearing all this mumbojumbo about switching the pins or something like that. Does anyone have a write up on how to install these on a 04-06 truck, and also running a wire for the puddle lamps.

Okay well after reading all 33 pages I think Ive got it figured out. My only question is weather or not I have heated mirrors now, lol. I have an 04 with power/turn signals and I have the rear defrost. But I dont have a specific button for the mirrors. Is it tied into the rear defrost and if I have one do I have the other?

basically what us 06 and older f150 need to do is move pin 9 to pin 8, then you need to cut off pin 2 which is a ground because you only need one ground with this new mirror, and then if you want a puddle you can try and use the pin out of 2 that you cut off and put it in 11 and run a wire in your truck to a black wire with a blue stripe that runs behind the plastic piece that your hood latch is in, and bam it should work just make sure you check that black and blue wire with the door open so it has juice, hopes this help's i gotta do it tomorrow so hope my way is right

Since I already have heat, power, and turn signals do i need to do anything other than just move pin 9 to the 8 slot? And then in what slot does the puddle lamp go to and what pin can I use for that purpose

JUST GOT MINE DONE, yee haw ill put pictures on later, but anyways W.L.B what you need to do just like i did move pin 9 to pin 8 then have to cut off the wire on pin 2 since its the second ground, then i removed the #2 pin since you dont need it anymore and put in the #11 spotwith the wireand spliced a wire on the the wire coming out of #11 pin that you just put in and then you have to run a wire to the drivers side from the passenger side and driver side to a black wire with blue stripe, i found the wire all the way on the bottom of the harness that runs under that black plastic piece thats runs next to the door, if ya have any more questions let me know my heat works, signals work and puddle works

What wires do you tap into on the passenger side to use the puddle lamps?

That's what I did also. I wonder if anyone here knows the wire color on the passenger side to tap into.
